Butinarjeva ravine
We have started from Vrsic pass at 08.00 hrs. We reached the ravine at about 09.00 hrs. First part of the route is easy, some basic snow climb, around 40°/50°. The snow conditions were great throughout the hole ravine, except at mid part were snow was rather soft. The hardest part was covered with hard snow & ice and the climbing was really excellent. For safety reasons we put a fixed rope. We reached the Grebenec ridge around 11.30 hrs. After a short break we descended via southern route back to Vrsic pass. Great day!
