Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingZanoaga Mare, because of excellent sceneries and two nights spent on its shore. But I will always remember the divine tranquility surrounding Mindra lake, without any signs of sheep excrements....
On the other hand, Mija lake will be my nightmare, because it was the first time I had water inside the tent, due to damaged dural pole....

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingHow was the Mija valley generally, compared to the others?

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingGenerally it is a giant glacial cirque, completelly deserted, without any signs of tourist activity with only a very few places suitable for camping in tents.

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingIn a nutshell, great for hiking/scrambling but not the best for pitching the tent?

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingYes, it can be described as this:
Glacial cirque, great for scrambling, but not too good for a group of tourists intending to pitch the tent...

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingTalking of the crap:) - firm evidence the sheep haven't gone yet. I wonder if you saw any horses grazing by Stina Rosiile.

Re: 2nd biggest in the ParingNo domestic animals were seen by Rosiile area. Stina Rosiile is situated downhill and I do not know what is the situation there with horses or sheep.
