Beautiful SpotI've always wanted to do the class 1-2 route up University Peak from Center Basin. Did you do that or Keith while you were there? I'm sure the spot was quite isolated being off the JMT/PCT trail. It would be interesting to come into Center Basin over Junction Pass from Shepard.

Re: Beautiful SpotI sure did rmac! Actually I enjoyed this spot so much I returned a couple years later to bag remaining peaks in the area. Fantastic both trips and always had the place to myself.
The first trip I did University, Bradley, and Keith from the camp, and the second trip visited East Vidette, Center Peak, and Junction Peak. I went around to do Junction from Forester Pass.

Re: Beautiful SpotMrchad... thanks for the info. That was quite the feat doing all those peaks in that area! If you have a little time, I'd like to know a few particulars about University and Keith. I'd love to do Junction, but my fear of class 3 has always been my downfall re: mountaineering in the Sierras.
