Biked the White Rim Road in 2014. Going to do it again in May. Just did the Needles in March. Saw Druid Arch, Joint Trail, and the Confluence. Need to hit the Maze and Island in the Sky more thoroughly.

2nd visit
Nine years between visits. The first time was to the Maze district for a long backpacking trip. This time around I was sightseeing by vehicle mostly with a couple short hikes. I had to cut the trip short though when the truck broke down and I had to spend 3 days in Moab waiting for it to be fixed.

Great place
This beautiful National park does not get the attention that it deserves. It is true that it is not easy to get to it. There are lots of things to do and a couple of days of exploration are a must.

Mesa Arch & White Rim Overlook
Did these two little hikes with the family, which both offered nice panoramic views.
Another wonderful desert hiking area I try to hit each spring when the snow gets to be too much up North in the Yellowstone area. Nice hikes available, especially in the Islands area.

Island in the Sky
The gf and I just drove around the Island in the Sky region, snapped the pre-requisite pics. It was the third time visiting the area, as i did twice when younger with the family. It's a very beautiful area of the country, and staying in Moab, combining Arches with Canyonlands is awesome! I will do it again....
Multiple trips spent here top-roping, mountain biking, trail-running, hiking and camping. Visited Island in the Sky and Maze on two ocasions.
The scenery is outstanding and awe-inspiring. Summers are great and winters are equally cold.
Still need to get back here and learn how to climb towers.
Many trips to Dead Horse as well.
In June 2009, were fortunate to backpack the morning after a big rain. Saw some cool stuff in the temporary ponds, including tiny tadpoles. Camped overnight, and saw Druid Arch in the early AM light. Need to see Island in the Sky one of these times. Utah rocks!
