Cat's ThatNice day for a hike. It's doubtful I'll bother with Cat Knob again, though.

Cat Knob/Hazeltop comboDid the out-and-back from Booten's Gap parking area. Although there was some snow on the route, Hazeltop was quite easy, and I practically jogged up and down. The Laurel Gap trail and the climb up Cat Knob proved to be more challenging and enjoyable. It was a beautiful day for it, and I didn't see anyone else on the trip.

From Booten's GapThe skies were clear and there were some views of the nearby mountains.

Done it several timesCat Knob is really just one of several summits of Jones Mountain. It is nice to include on a Hoover Camp loop that starts at Bootens Gap.
