Thanks, Dale. Yes, I use a ridiculously heavy tilt/shift 40mm lens, Hartblei. The lens alone weighs over 4 pounds. My camera is a Nikon D800 along with a Really Right Stuff carbon tripod, a good stout one. I love the setup, but it is not very practical for backpacking. It has gotten to the point I doubt I'll carry this gear into the mountains anymore if going solo. The trip itself is probably the toughest I've ever done. Too much for my old legs these days. Longley Pass is a worthy challenge. Reflection Lake is beautiful, one of my favorites for sure. Best of luck! Greg
