Cliff Laying

Cliff Laying

Me, Wiktoria Plawska taking a short break on a steep cliff which is about 200 meters long in height. The ladder that i just came off of was about 7-10 meters and very thin. Only my Dad and I reached the summit. The other two of my party did not.

Well done!

This is what we in the Dolomites would call a ferrata (although they are with steel wires, not chains). I think that with that degree of steepness you should use a harness with carabiners to clip on the chain!

Re: Well done!

Thank you for the comment. No one that i saw during the summer had a harness or even a helmet, though many people die climbing this mountain. The only support there was the chains and ladders, your right, though. It would be much safer to have a harness.
