almost perfect

a great view from a great climb...but this is not safe my friend!!! in routes like this(rock or ice falls) it's not safe to belay from right under the climber.. have fun and take care of your self

Re: almost perfect

Hi!

Thanks!
There are a couple of things not correct here:
1. tied-of screw
2. pretty large angle between the screws
3. not first screw right after belay (but not too far away either)

The climber is slightly to the right of the belayer.

But well, theory and reality tend to differ a lot in the mountains (damn, how often I did and do boot-axe belays cause nothing else would work). In any case, it was my 2nd ice route (well, 1st pure ice route actually, the one before that was mixed) - these days I know it better.

You take care too! Iran is is on my to-do list.

Peter
