This trail can be found in the Capitol Reef Central District portion.

2011 Cohab Canyon, Capital Reef National Park
We drove 6 km east from the Visitor’s Center and parked our car at the Hickman Bridge trailhead at the left side of the bridge. The trail head of the Cohab Canyon trail begins across the H24 road and across the bridge over the Fremont River. This 2.5 km long trail is strenuous for the first ¼ mile, then moderately climbs to a hidden canyon with spur trails, with a short side trail overlooking Fruita. The highest point offers a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area.

Do not miss two hidden canyons on the left side of the trail. Those are not marked; see photos attached.
