Colchuck Lake--3,300 ft...
Colchuck Lake--3,300 ft below--from the summit of Dragontail Peak. It's cool the way the shadow of Colchuck Peak is creeping across the frozen lake. Photo taken April 26, 2003 at about 5:15PM. Only about 7 miles to go to get back to the car. The awesome glissade practically all the way down from Aasgard Pass would certainly make it go quicker.
