Snow Dome

The ice lines are world class. The one in the shadows was recently climbed including the glacier seracs on top.

Thank you very much for the background information and help with the mountain names!! I will update the captions over the weekend.

Judging from your profile you are well acquinted with these mountains, I'm jealous. I wish I had more time when I was there!

The left line

on the prow is called "Slipstream" and is one of the prizes of the Rockies. It goes at grade 4 but has huge objective hazards (i.e. the seracs) - a number of people have been killed on it. The line Bill refers to is called "Polarity" but was actually name "Ice Porn" by the first ascentists (it still hasn't been climbed through the seracs).
