look at the view. Who needs the view if there is a chance of slipping! I have the same problem. When I'm standing next to a cliff I have to look down, otherwise I could loose my balance.

Great Route

Did it a couple of seasons ago on the way back from doing the Tacul, a really nice way to the cable station, nice photo :)

Yes, it's a super route, I've done it a few times just to acclimatize. And, I always get a kick out of surprising all the tourists at the lookout by hopping over the railing!

You are so right and good eye! Yes, it snowed for a week just before I got there. They got over 1 meter of snow, which pretty much squashed all my planned climbs. But, no complaints...just climbed other stuff, there's plenty there!

What a beautiful picture!! When was it taken? It's all in there! I dreamed of the Trois-Mont-Blanc-traverse but could not fit it in this year because of the weather!Congratulations!

Thanks so much! It was taken September 5th. Too bad about the terrible weather for your trip. Yes, they had 1.5 meters of snow just before I arrived, that's why I did this ridge, it was one of the few climbs possible.

Yes conditions were fickle - Aig du Tour was OK day before you took the picture and Gran Paradiso the day after. But conditions stopped us going for the Domes de Miage & Gonella route on Mont Blanc...
And agreed, great picture of my favourite mountain
