Death Valley in July ?

And ... I thought Las Vegas was a tad warm
before some monsoon clouds drifted in and
offered some relief.

I drive through on the way back from the Sierra Nevada. Actually, I left early enough to hike the Death Valley Buttes while temperatures were "only" still around 100!
