Route Climbed: South Ridge from Snow Peak Date Climbed: August 23, 2005
Climbed this during an 8 day trip to Yosemite. Ascended the south ridge of Snow Peak from Tilden Lake with MarkZ. Ran the ridge to Snow Peak solo and then continued on to Craig Peak. There is a bit of exposed climbing on the north side of Snow Peak to reach the saddle. There is also a Class 4 move required to gain the summit blocks on Craig Peak. Backtracked and descended via the slope on the south ridge after climbing Craig Peak. It was a beautiful, clear day to be in the mountains! There was no smoke, very little wind and no mosquitos at the higher elevations!
