What an awesome

photo of The Corridor! From this camera angle,
The Corridor looks steeper from when viewed
from Sunrise Lodge. Breathtaking photo!!

Of course, probably everything on Rainier
looks gentler from Sunrise Lodge. Awesome!!!

June 2011 Update

Great write-up. Just climbed this route last week, and conditions were great with a lot of snow left at Schurman. The route to the summit was fairly straight up with few crevases to manage around, save for a couple of big ones about 2 hours out of camp with softening snow bridges...we traverssed around the long way, although the bridges were probably still ok. Absolutely beautifule climb and only one other group was climbing behind us that day - highly recommended.
