Sometimes I saw real mirages. Once it was really weired. I saw a truck very far away and it was there for a long time. All of a sudden it was gone.

I read your article "In to the unknown" on the Japanese Alpine News May 2007. It is so exciting and interesting. Thanks so much!
When I was young, I had very interesting for Chang Tang plateau where is unknown territorie like you, and made trip many timies on the map. But my plan had been not realized.
I realy respect you of action.
I wish you success in all your activities in the future.
I have not seen the article myself yet as I have been travelling for a long time. I'm glad you liked it.
The Chang Tang is for sure my favorite area on earth. So different, so untouched and so beautiful!
I am curious where are you climbing/biking/hiking now because I see you are in the mountains till November. :)I hope you have fun!
At the moment I'm in Lhasa, Tibet resting after about 70 days in the wilderness in the north. Have summited 9 peaks so far and cycled quite a bit (3300km), so now I need some time for rest. May stay here for more climbing or I may go to Argentina.
And, yes, I'm having a lot of fun :-)
Nice to hear that. Hope soon some of your new shots will be posted here on SP page.
Cheers and have fun!
I will add some mountain and route pages soon, but I just have to find a place where they have a photo-editing program so I can make the images smaller.
Thanks, also from China :-)
hands down. Looks like fun
As long as the ice doesn't break :-)
the best "profile photo" I have seen on SP, well, not to mention the rest of your collection.
More power to you Corax.

The northern part of the Tibetan high plateau is magic!
Some places seem to be in direct connection with one's soul. I've never been there, but this picture means so much to me : remoteness, immensity, freedom and beauty. Thanks.
