The introduction of the "Four Girls Mountains ( Official site in China or
Mirror site in Japan )"
in southwestern China
Hello! I am working for Four Girls Mountains Nature Reserve Management Bureau in China. My activity is the photography and the nature protection in Nature Reserve. Another name of Four Girls Mountains is Siguniangshan, or Siguniang Mountains. These have the same meaning.
Four Girls Mountains is around 31 degrees of north latitude, 103 degrees of east longitude in southwestern China. This area is in the east part on the Trans Himalayas which is called the treasury of the gene. It is at the east end of the Tibetan cultural sphere, too. The highest peak in this area is Mount Fourth Girl (6250m). It is a divine mountain in Tibetan region. A lot of flower of alpine plants blooms in the steep and complicated landform with glacial origin. Four Girls Mountains is said to that it is the goddess on the mountains in southwestern China. However, in recent years, the tourist increases rapidly and the nature protection becomes a big problem.
In my home page, you can see the part of the beautiful nature of Four Girls Mountains.
