This is the route atop the ridge from Hotaka in the south to Yarigatake in the north. First climb to the summit of Hotaka or Yari via one of the two aforementioned routes.

Route Description

Parts of it are dangerous and should be avoided in bad weather. There are fixed chains in many places so there really is no need to rope up but it is quite exposed in some places. Route is marked with a white circle.

Essential Gear

Good boots, good weather recommended. Ropes would not hurt in exposed places but there are no walls which require belays or climbing as along follow the markings.
