How are usual

conditions on Testa del Leone in mid summer july/august? Is there any glacier? How much snow am I to expect? Are there loose rocks sections above "the gully" (beginning part of ascend to Colle del Leone)? If we go there, do we need to secure ourselves by rope due to tough rock sections? Thanks for any answer. Cheers Tomas :)

Re: How are usual

july, august and september are normally the best choice for this climb, the route to the Colle del Leone is normally not difficult but can be dangerous for falling stones, the only advice is to go there ONLY with absolutely safe weather: just remember that in any period of the summer you can find fresh snow and ice
