Desert Dessert 5.11A bolted...

Desert Dessert 5.11A bolted is the arete on the far left, between the pillars is the chimney climb Disaster Factor 5.8, the arete climb just left of center is Savage Heart 5.10B, the left nonchalked crack is Sex Party 5.10A, the right chalked crack is Lingerie 5.11D, and on the right is one of the routes we climbed, the sweet 272, which is 5.8.

Oh yeah. I love Basalt crack climbing. That route Sex Party 10A is incredible! It is the handcrack just left of center.

Have you been to Smith Rock (OR)? It's mostly sport there, but they have some cool (also basalt) trad' climbs there too. Karate Crack & Moonlight Dihedral look really cool. Would've tried the former if I hadn't broken my hand (ending my climbing trip :( ) on the latter. Safe climbing!

No, haven't made it there yet. I've heard that there are some excellent cracks at the Tuft too. Karate Crack is very well known. I smell Roadtrip.
