Re: Excellent photo!

Thanks! It was not an easy hike to get there. The uphill parts were great but my knees still hurt from all that dang downhill. Fun trip though. :)

Great photography !

It's that brisk morning air, right? It really brings out all the COLORS in the COLOURS.

Just think ...

By the time the winter is over,
you'll be tough enough to take on
... Alaska! Oh, that's right ...
you prefer the Colorado Plateau.
That's cool! Its a beautiful place!

Re: Just think ...

I don't think I would ever be tough enough to take on Alaska, even after hiking 4 winters here with Bo! Now he could! Mr. Wilderness Survival Instructor.. but I am a wimp when it comes to cold. ;p

Re: Just think ...

WHAT? I thought you said you enjoyed
gray clouds and stormy weather ... flash
floods and dark canyons. Hey, I just
described Zion National Park!!! : - )

Re: Just think ...

You did! But there is a big difference between storms in the desert and storms elsewhere. If you ask someone who lives in a cold climate, I bet they say they LOVE the sun. If you ask someone that lives in the desert, bet they say they love the rain and storms. Many of us tend to love what we don't get much ---- ... I think if I lived in Seattle Washington I would not crave the rain like I do here... because here it is so rare!

Tanya ?

I just noticed something in regards to
your picture! Look at the SHADOW in the
background. Doesn't it resemble ... a
black poodle.

I didn't know you were into SHADOW
photography!!!

Re: Tanya ?

Things are looking up! You did not see food in the photo. ;p

Re: Tanya ?

No, but I think the black poodle sees a
3/4-pound chunk of prime rib behind the rock.
