Balanced rock on a sandstone fin, near North Park Avenue
inside Arches National Park, Utah

I always thought this was Sheep Rock, because it (remotely?) resembles the head of a Bighorn sheep.

"You were wrong, Grasshopper!"

Early morning hours inside Arches NP is time very well spent.

Nope, didn't climb it !!!

But, I'm still STUCK with the unanswered question:

"Do androids dream of electric sheep?"

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Maybe they do in this movie

That’s not Sheep Rock. This is sometimes called Towel Head. I know, the name isn’t politically correct, but that is what some people call it.

Re: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Melinda, this formation is called 'Queen
or "Unjoined Rock."

The formation to the lower right is called 'Sausage Rock' or "The Popsicle."

Here's a LINK.

Re: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

Thanks Larry, I suppose some of these formations have different names since they are not official. You can see a resemblance from a photo of Nefertiti

Re: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

No, thanks to you !!!

I'm sure Queen Nefertiti is very deserving of
a landmark named in her honor.

Geez, wonder what I'll learn next on SP ???

They do...

I know. I was going to say something about Bladerunner but Melinda beat me to it. Guess I'll just have to be quicker next time. :)

Re: They do...

Yes, you will. I've never met Melinda in person, but in all due respect I would speculate that she can be fast when she chooses to be.
