View of Dome glacier and the summit ridge of Dome on Friday evening,
June 30, 2006. The main summit (higher one) is the first high point on the
summit ridge when looking from left to right. The Southeast summit appears
closer (and to the right) with a steep snow/ice face for the approach
above the bergschrund. The terminus of the Dome glacier is visible. One
accesses the flat portion above by going up a mellow snow slope (~35 degrees)
on the climber's left of the ice fall.
