The last half hour or so of the Dreickspitz normal route is from the west (more precisely, from the WSW) , but to get that far, there are two options: from the west, over the Bärenluegscharte, or from the north, which is where I had come from. And that had lead me past the now rather inconspicuous are the small Napfen Lacken, a number of small high alpine lakes.
