Duchess on the SW slopes of Blanca

This was one of our first snow climbs - we were still beginners in 2007 in scrambling peaks, and I remember being spooked that day. We did not see anyone, I had not much experience with snow climbs, Duchess spend most of the time right ahead of me (in case she would slide). Reaching the summit was amazing...And I remember receiving a phone call from my son while scrambling up the slopes, he just landed in the Czech republic to spend summer with my mom.
