Nice colors in this one Mockba!
Looks very cold out there?!
Not really cold, I picked this day on purpose as one of the last mellow days of our "Indian Summer" before the next round of snowstorms.
It was about -5C when I started before dawn, and warmed up to short-sleeves temperatures in the afternoon Sun. But in the shade of the cliffs which you can see in this picture, chimneying up verglass-covered sandstone, it was brrr cold, my fingers didn't come back to life for another 20 minutes LOL.
October 8th at 1pm in the High Uintas.
That's gotta be cold, man! Do you carry those little "hand gell warmers" with you?!
This photo makes me want to drink a special
cup of Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino, over a
roaring hot bonfire! Golly, Dmitry!!!
Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino? Not bad! I still had a few last gulps of hot tea in my thermos when I stopped to take this picture ... and probably a couple of those handwarmers in the pack, too, just in case, not that it was needed. Hard to use them when you haven't got gloves LOL!
