Fun hike, big snake  Sucess!

Fun scramble, up the ridge, down the gully. Met a big rattler half way down the gully. He asked that I get the hell off his mountain and I did.

Beautiful Views  Sucess!

East Ord was my first peak of a Mojave tour(East Ord, Kingston, Kelso Dunes, and Chemehuevi Peak). The views on the summit were spectacular. There were patches of snow.

2nd Ascent  Sucess!

Up the south east ridge, down the standard route. A 20% chance of rain turned into a deluge. Glad I brought my rain jacket!

From the South East, and again on the Standard Route  Sucess!

I went up the south east ridge one day, then up the wash the second day. Aside from the hellatious wind, it was a pleasant climb.

From the Southeast  Sucess!

Don't really remember much about this hike other than it was short and pretty easy. One of my first on the DPS list.

Kingston, Kelso Dunes, East Ord, Cady, Whipple, Chemehuevi, Mastodon, and Eagle  Sucess!

A very fun week in the desert. East Ord was the shortest hike I did on this trip, aside from the Kelso Dunes. There were a bunch of Coyote Gourds growing in the wash.
