Thanks for adding it! I ascended by this route Kepa/Mittagskogel only once. In some descriptions in our books I read that it's an easy, marked ascent. But I never agreed. As a hiking tour it is medium hard and I vividly remember how surprised I was on that narrow and exposed ledge. So, your description is very correct.
Can I ask you again to cut & paste that great 360 degree panorama on Kepa main page. Please!!! I never had such a clear view from the top and you did it great! Thanks, Master!
Yesterday we ascended by this route, but only to the summit of Gubno/Hühnerkogel. So, I edited a few small details in your description. I hope you don't mind.
Hehe, no of course I don't mind! We're getting ready for three weeks in Auronzo starting Saturday. Hoping, of course, that the weather will get its track back up. Seems to have been a horrible summer down there so far.
What a coincidence... Yesterday, Bojana and I summited Kepa, starting from Dovje (parked where the two streams come together). A very nice hike, with rewarding views (mind a cloud or two). I'll try to get Bojana to post a few pics. Cheers! Borut
