I am so used to you guys doing Utah sandstone that this shot with snow made me say "is this the same Radek and Shirley?". Nice pics. I'm moving to Utah next month so I'm taking my skiis with me.
:) Hi Dean,
thank you very much! We were going to do something else in addition to this (GREAT fun!) peak but things did not go as planned. The scenery up there was amazing though!
"I'm moving to Utah next month so I'm taking my skiis with me."
Wow - that's a great change Dean. Was this motivated by climbing or other factors :) ? Congratulations! I always thought it would be THE place for climbing.
I retired in May from my practice and took a teaching position at a dental hygiene college less than a month later. BIG change but one that should challenge me professionally and put me in the center of some good stuff. After about three years, I'll be back in the northwest (I'll need to get hydrated)
Sounds like a nice change of pace in terms of professional life, Dean. Not even going to get into the change of pace for outdoor activities... Congratulations on your retirement Dean - we wish you the best!
No problems on the change of pace. I'll have every tuesday off plus fri-sun. School term ends about the 22nd of April and I get the whole summer off. Not a bad schedule. Every tuesday I'll be chasing a peak nearby or skiing. Yummmm.
Dude, are you sure this is your photo? Where is the desert? ;)
:) a rare snow strom in the desert in mid July hehehe!
Thank you for visiting.
it was big! :)
