Been hiking here for a decade and counting. Finding the Eastern Sierra was finding myself. The range is made of dreams.
So close and yet so far, as a daytripper from the West Side I just don't get over as often as I'd like. Dratz! But this neck of the woods is truly awesome. Rugged, soaring, a mountain landscape that rivals any other in North America. Scotty!
incredible landscape, from high desert to high peaks. cant wait till next time( Williamson Tyndall)
Climbed up to Treasure Lakes. Breautiful day hike
Climbed to Dog Lake in Tuolemne Meadows. Beauitful lake trail once there.
I've been climbing in the Eastern Sierra every summer since 1999. It's my favorite place.
Been hiking the Eastern Sierras for many years. Great memories and future trips. Love it!
Best knife-edge ridges around! Solid granite and adventurous settings make the Eastside a playground for the aspiring alpinist.
My first trip on the East Side was a trip to the Palisades and ever since, I just keep coming back again, and again, and again...
Great place to get maps and info
Nice information site. I love the Eastern Sierras and visit the area for either a backpack or ski trip several times per year.
Oh yeah! A real mind stopper! One of the truly awesome places on the planet! I get there several times every year.
The Eastern Sierra is why I could never leave California.
Thanks to LA for forcing the Eastern Sierra to remain a lightly populated, fantastic base for venturing to the high country. Can you imagine how many golf courses, gated communities, and sprawling neighborhoods places like Bishop would have if they still had the water?
The east-side feels like freedom...
Love the Eastern Sierras. Most beautiful place on Earth
Still finding new adventures in the Sierra Nevada, both on the west side and east side! Won't stop climbing till I'm unable!
Have taken a few trips on the east side- Now hope to take many more now that I have the time.
Love the Eastern Sierra, spent many days fishing there as a kid with my father. I think I could live in Owens Valley somewhere.
Never get tired of the Eastern Sierra.
The Eastern Sierra...it was love at first sight for me
