Enchantment Peak - SW Contours

Gimpilator and Josh head west towards the southwest summit contour area of Enchantment Peak. We had just passed a northeastern highpoint that seemed higher than at least two of the highpoints shown in this photo (except for perhaps the southwestern-most point, shown on the leftside of this photo). However, a couple of our maps showed the three southwestern highpoints within the southwestern contour to all be higher than the northeastern highpoint not shown in this photo. We thought there was a chance that distance was messing with our perception of which points were the highest. We visited the northeastern-most of the three southwestern contour highpoints shown in this photo, and quickly confirmed our original suspicion... that the northeastern highpoint we had passed earlier was truly higher. We turned around and headed back northeast to the correct summit block, which was a scramble. Enchantment Peak would soon become the fourth and final mountain summited during a two-day trip in the Enchantments. Photo taken on June 12, 2011.
