Mountains of ZermattI have done a fair amount of climbing in the Zermatt area, to include a great ascent of the Matterhorn. However, the attempt on the Rimpfischhorn was unsuccessful. We came to within 50 feet of the summit & due to time constraints, we "turned it". It then became the Rotten-fish-horn. Have never had the desire to return for another attempt. I really love the area and all it has to offer.

Re: Mountains of ZermattCongrats for Climbing Matterhorn. The Saas Fee & Zermatt Area's are indeed beauutiful and great for climbing.
I want to climb Rimpfischhorn next year, I hope to be more lucky :-)
