Evening Sun

The Sulphide Glacier (in shadow) is seen above the SW face flowing S from the 9131' summit of Mt Shuksan; the Upper Curtis Glacier (highlighted by evening sun) hangs below the summit pyramid. Looking ENE, from 6840' (just below the Boulder Cleaver on Mt. Baker), towards the SW face of Mt Shuksan. Photo taken 5/28/05 by Kelsi Franzen.

Not only a great angle of Shuksan but I also notice Mt. Ann in the foreground. My Ann page could use this photo (I don't have a photo of it from this angle). Can you upload it there? Thanks.

Amazing mountain...

I like the terrain and the lighting in this photo. If I´m in Washington, Shuksan is on my "Must go there" list! Cheers Tomas.

Yeah, I took that picture, I love photography and the lighting sure did Shuksan justice!
