Fall colors at Silver Lake

Silver Lake with the fall colors of 2010 around it. The duck, some float tubers (center, white color), wind and kids throwing rocks made it impossible to pull off that perfect reflection. September 30th, 2010

Fantastic!

I don't know if these are larches - probably not, but the color reminds me of them. Sometime in November I hope to find the time to take a trip to Tyrol or one of the other places where the slopes are covered in golden larches...

The colors on the hill are just you average Aspen Tree. Not sure what the water plants are.....but moose love them a lot......even more than the ducks who are famous for ruining reflections. Happy Trails
