Yeah. Cool photo. Looks way different than when I did it last February. Lots of rock exposed. I believe Craig and I went directly over that tower encountering several 60 degree pitches. Your way looks easier.

The route marked in this photo had some thin snowcover for April. [Disregard this old speculation: I think in May-June people drop below and to climber's right of the closest cliff in this photo before turning left up the final couloir.]

The two times I've done this route (January and June) we've gone this same direction. Going down and to the right would put you at the top of the Newton-Clark headwall?
