Ah ha, I see that with a little prodding I can make Gangolf turn a 3-star page into a 5-star page. To make me feel silly, he went with five paragraphs when I would have been satisfied with five words. Very nice. And nice job on the links to other mountains.

No no I didn't want to make you look silly! You asked the physicist but the consultant answered. Not knowing anything but filling long pages with worthless information is my job, hehe. Just envision yourself as being one of my customers and be happy that I stayed with the topic (somehow). I should have said something as to why volcanic rock is black - as opposed to the "recently" active volcanos where you get all colours - but I suppose I needed another section for this.
Anyway, it was fun being teased that way so why wouldn't I return that to you?

Another very fine page! Ahem! Have we spoken about the question who will do the Villgraten group page (or the Defregger group)? So far I can see only you and Mathias.

Thanks Vid! Mathias promised to do it and he will do it better than I can. I have been there only for two (very long) days. Actually we were so busy hiking around that we may have missed much. I don't have views of the Schober- and Kreuzeck Groups because I was distracted by the Dolomites and Carnic Alps. Actually I have a 360° pano where there should be pictures of the western direction.

Untitled CommentOh come on! It's not that schwarz.
Why does it appear so black? You're a physicist, where's the scientific explanation? Is it the rock type?
Please answer thiese questions and I'll upgrade my vote.
