First Creek Canyon

This is deep inside the First Creek Canyon in an area known as the Cascading Falls. Even though the waterfall is often just a trickle, there are always a few small shallow pools here. The tall trees are Ponderosa Pines. The Hidden Bowl to Mount Wilson and First Creek Peak routes start on top of this waterfall past the big boulder. Red Rocks, Nevada. April 2008.
