Fischunkelalm on the shore of the Obersee

The Obersee is a small and very beautifully situated mountain lake on the same height as and about half a mile east of the southern tip of the Königssee lake. In May it's just Paradise on Earth there!

reminds me of spring time in Yosemite Valley, green meadows and steep walls.

There are many places in the Berchtesgaden National Park that look "American" or "Canadian", and the Königssee area with it's wonderful remoteness is definitely one of them!
