Bored and found it a nice time killer.
I was driving by and thought, "Why not?"
Peak bagging in Boulder.
Recovering from nasty flu, nice hike with my son sunday late sunday mornig.
I hiked up from Flagstafg Mtn Road. A lot of dogs on the trail! Enjoyed the final mini boulder scramble, nice surprise!
My wife and I were married at the amphitheater there!
Did this via the Flagstaff trail about 10 years ago. Didn't like crossing the road so many times, so I haven't done it again. I guess I have ridden my bike up a few times, too.
A little snow.
An absurdly short hike in the rain. Fun little boulder problem at the very summit.
Biked the road and then hiked to the summit.
Always a fun ride.
Nice trail in winter. good way to check out boulders as well!
Last few hours with the family before they left me at CU, drove up to the parking lot. Jogged up to the highpoint and took in the views, First time i'd been up in the hills above Boulder. Look forward to exploring this area.
A nice hike with the wife. The weather was warm and fairly sunny.
Mesa South TH to South Boulder Peak, Bear Peak, Green Mountain, and Flagstaff Mountain, ending at Chautauqua TH.
New Year's Eve hike when, while clear skies, it was cold and windy. The road to the summit was closed, so I hiked up the .7 miles from the turn off from the main road. Beautiful, yet cold. Nice way to spend New Year's Eve.
A family climb. It was a good summit hike. Not really a great view, but a really nice climb up to the top. A good training hike.
Good for a run. Long day. Hit this, Sanitas and Haystake Peak up north.
Not the most interesting hike in Boulder, but still worthwhile. Crossing the road (especially now with the construction) is a real distraction, but its a quick shot up to the top and some nice views along the way.
