Flame Azalea

One of many Flame Azaleas on the summit of Gregory Bald. Gregory Bald is famous for it's abundance of Flame Azalea shrubs. They bloom in June and keep their blooms into July. Although the peak season is usually late June, there were quite a few of the shrubs in full bloom a little early this year. Gregory Bald GSMNP June 5, 2015
