Mirror Lake

is nearby? What an impressive set of peaks!
Seriously, I wish I could go back into time,
when I was a boy scout trying NOT to get lost along the East Fork of the Bear. : ))

Mirror Lake is about 3 miles SW of the summit of Hayden Peak. The thing that impressed me about this view is that you have no clue it's coming until it's actually there.

Yeah, that's WHY so many people get hopelessly
lost in that area, which is no joke.
