Nice trip report!

Congrats on reaching the summit.

One question: The angle of the glacier above the bergschrund looks like it is more than 30 degree in the photo titled, "Rick above the Bergschrund". Are you sure it was only 30 degrees, or is that a type-o...?

Also, your link to "Gannett Peak, the Easy Way" is mislabeled. It actually takes you to the Cold Springs Trailhead page. (I'm not sure which page you wanted to link to, but the name of the link doesn't match the page.)

Hello George: Although years later, I'm glad to answer these questions...and glad my post is still here!

About the angle of the ice above the bergschrund: maybe it's steeper than 30 degrees...but not by much. Thirty degrees is damn steep, by the way, if you've ever skied it.

But the link is not mislabeled: the easy way into Gannett is along the Cold Springs Trail, as I described.
