Grrman's ridge report  Sucess!

We climbed the ridge with a 10mm rope and 6 quickdraws. No nuts. No friends. We relied on the fixed ropes as my iranian partner didn't have gear and me traveling alone for long tine ony have shoes and harness. Rock climbing shoes not needed if youbuse fixed ropes. If not, they can be useful.

The ropes are sometimes good, sometimes very bad and dangerous. It's better to have nuts and friends and climb it yourself if you can. Max grade 6a french if you ask me. I didn't climb it as I said, just orientative.

There are some red and blue small metal arrows indicating the path sometimes. We used the our rope and clipped either pitons or rock horns or knot loops in the fixed ropes only in 4 very short pitches before and after the famous rock in equilibrium.

Very nice views of the north wall until you turn rifht after the snow spots and you don't see it anymore.

4h 15m from the base camp to the end of the ridge, 15 minutes before the Alamkooh summit
