Nice to see this TH on here; you should mention the Old Glacier Trail as well, which starts east of the TH with a ford of Torrey's Creek, later meeting with the New Glacier Trail near Arrow Mountain. Picture here.
I was meaning to add a small notation about the Old Glacier Trail, but I was gone all weekend shortly after creating the page. I have now made the notation.
By the way, this is the easiest manner to cross Torrey Creek at that location.

Yes, Bob and I talked briefly about stealing a couple of horses from a nearby corral, tethering them to trees after the stream crossing, and then returning them at the end of the day; we decided that the 5:45 a.m. cold water would do a better job of waking us up! :)
