Glaucopsyche aleksis on Ragged Robin

Glaucopsyche aleksis is a small butterfly from the Lycaenidae Family. It can be seen from early May through July on sunny slopes, glades and on the edges of deciduous forests of the Bieszczady Mountains and the Low Beskid.

When you can

see the beautifully intense yet simple pattern
on a passing butterfly, that's what we deem
here in America as a great photograph.
