Gold-dust Day Gecko

Gold-dust Day Gecko (Phelsuma laticauda) Originally from Madagascar, they were introduced to Hawaii in the 1970's. Met this little fellow on Oahu, on our way up to Manoa Valley. I was really impressed by its colours.

Thanks for the vote!

It wasn't too hard. I had the (compact) camera up reeeal close, so (s)he didn't feel too comfortable about that and ran a bit 3-4 times, but eventually stayed put. Altogether I think it took 3 pictures before I made one I was sort of pleased with.
