Thank you for you very kind comment. Yes, I think I succeeded in getting a quite good photo of Gran Vernel in spite of rather bad weather.

I've noticed that

sometimes the clouds have a lot to do with
obtaining a nice picture. They block out the
sun, and the mountain can show more clarity
and detail. It always works in the desert.

Yes, I think that sometimes clouds can make for a more dramatic photo. A pure blue cloud here wouldn't have worked so well.
