3/9/10 In memory of the person who passed on her passion for the details of GOD's creation to me.... .... from the smallest rocks, bugs, pinecones, birds and butterflies... .... to the grandest mountain peaks, trees, stars and each and every painted sky... I love you, Grandma... .... you will be missed! Looking forward to the time when we will enjoy being in the presence of our CREATOR together...

Grandma's Last Sunset

While I was reading the beautiful tribute to your grandmother, verses 1 and 4 of the hymn Beyond The Sunset came to my mind:

Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning,
When with our Saviour heav'n is begun.
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning;
Beyond the sunset, when day is done.

Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion,
With our dear loved ones who've gone before;
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting,
Beyond the sunset forevermore!

Thank you so much for the beautiful hymn and kind words.
I know a lot of hymns, but had forgotten that one. It fits so perfectly.
The little taste of beauty that we experience here is surely nothing compared what it will be like "beyond the sunset"..
