Grandview Peak (UT) Witness BM

The central benchmark was missing but Eric Willhite posted a picture of it being present when he was there (Nov 2009) but at least this witness marker was left intact. I wish people would leave the benchmarks alone as they are a historical part of the mountain. As you can see, this one was placed in 1938. We found an old wood triangulation structure near where the mailbox containing the register was placed (lower on the outcrop to the east if you want to find it). 10-1-11
