A great example of the cool granite formations in the wilderness. This formation is near the Horse Thief Lake trailhead for Trail #14 in the Black Elk Wilderness.

Thanks for your comment! This formation is only a few miles from Mt. Rushmore. There are hundreds of granite formations from the Rushmore area over to the Needles and Cathedral Spires. For rock climbers and photographers alike, this area has much to offer.
